Ajana Lolat-Pažarauskienė has once again become a Guinness World Record holder - the only one of her kind in the world

Ajana Lolat-Pažarauskienė made headlines worldwide with her record: a woman with cerebral palsy, using crutches, covered the longest distance in the world.

“Congratulations to our colleague Ajana Lolat-Pažarauskienė - Guinness World Record holder, who covered the longest distance in the world using crutches! The Lithuanian woman with cerebral palsy traveled an impressive 19.261 km in 12 hours. This is Ajana’s second achievement recorded in the Guinness World Records! She dedicated this hike to her "Mulan Foundation", which trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania posted on social media.

Last year, Ajana covered an impressive 333 kilometers using crutches, and in October 2022, in Verkių Regional Park, she hiked 14.5 kilometers in 9 hours and 39 minutes, setting an official Guinness World Record. No other person with a disability in Lithuania had achieved this before. Ajana Lolat-Pažarauskienė has repeatedly shared her life story and inspiring thoughts with the public. In addition, she founded the "Mulan Foundation", which trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities. Typically, preparing an assistance dog can take a couple of years, and once placed with a person with a disability, the dog continues training under the guidance of a trainer in its new owner’s environment. The preparation of an assistance dog can cost up to €25,000.
