Ajana Lolat-Pažarauskienė has already proven that even cerebral palsy cannot keep her confined to bed. Last year, she managed to complete the set “Hike for Dreams” across Lithuania - covering an impressive 333 km with crutches - and on May 30 in Vilnius, she plans to break her own Guinness World Record set in 2022.
In addition to being a doctoral candidate in social sciences, the founder of the “Mulan Foundation,” a marksman, and a laureate of “Lithuanian Honor” and many other prestigious awards, Ajana is also an example of extraordinary willpower and a source of inspiration.
In October 2022, in Verkių Regional Park, she hiked 14.5 km with crutches in 9 hours and 39 minutes, setting an official Guinness World Record. The previous record belonged to former runner Brad Luiten, who had completed a 10 km distance in 12 hours in 2015.
The 35-year-old Lithuanian record holder, who covered the longest distance in the world using crutches, now plans to break her own record in the 12-hour category. This will be the Guinness “Hike for Dreams,” taking place on May 30 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Vilnius University Botanical Garden in Kairėnai.
